2. Key Components & Mechanism

  • Coupler Head: The "knuckle" design allows for automatic coupling upon impact.

  • Knuckle : The pivoting part that locks the connection.

  • Knuckle Pin : The vertical axis (visible in your first photo) that allows the knuckle to rotate.

  • Locking Block : An internal gravity-fed or spring-loaded mechanism that prevents the knuckle from opening during transit.
